Hartmann Veroval Duo Control Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is monitor is the optimal choice for those who are suffering from high blood pressure and need to measure their blood pressure regularly. It helps to detect irregular heartbeats (cardiac arrhythmia). Smart cuff with cuff fit indicator, patented Secure Fit cuff and comfort air technology and one size for all (universal). It enables very fast and reliable measurement of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure as well as the pulse through the fully automatic method. Hartmann Veroval Duo Control Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is clinically validated in accordance with the protocols of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and the British Hypertension Society (BHS) that assures precise measurement of blood pressure. For accurate blood pressure results, it is important to measure the blood pressure outside any episode of heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). Heart rhythm disorders may sometimes produce false measurements or lower the measurement accuracy. If ‘Irregular Heartbeat Detection’ symbol is shown in the display, the device has detected an irregular heartbeat during the measurement. However, the measurement may also have been disrupted by body movement or speaking. It is best to repeat the measurement. If you regularly see the ‘Irregular Heartbeat Detection ’symbol when measuring your blood pressure, we recommend that your doctor checks your heart rhythm. HOW TO USE
- You should take your blood pressure in a quiet place, in a relaxed and comfortable seated position
- Measurement can be taken on the right or left upper arm, recommended to perform the measurement on left upper arm
- Always use the same arm and place your forearm in a relaxed position on a supporting surface
- Start a measurement only after applying the cuff. Press the start button. Check the display segments to ensure that they are complete
- Cuff inflates automatically within 0.5 seconds. If the cuff is incorrectly placed, it pops an error on the display
- As the air pressure in the cuff decreases, the heart symbol flashes, and the dropping cuff pressure is displayed.
- After the measurement is complete, the systolic and diastolic pressure values as well as pulse rate are shown on the display at the same time.
- To switch the device off, press the start/stop button. Otherwise, the device will automatically switch off after 1 minutes
